Universal Pressure Transmitters SP21
He SP21 pressure transmitters are designed to measure the pressu- re of liquids and gases. They feature technology, 316SS piezoresis- tive silicon chips, polarity protection and excellent long term stabi- lity. These highly reliable sensors are available with Gauge or Abso- lute pressure ranges.
Technology:
As pressure increases within a vessel, a displaced electrical char- ge accumulates on the opposing surface of the piezoresistive cell. This generates an output signal, which is converted to a standardi- zed Voltage or 4-20-mA (2 wire) signal that is directly proportional to the pressure applied. Standard connections are 1/4”, 1/2” (BSP or NPT), but separate adaptors can be ordered to conform to individual process requirements.

- Designed for reliable limit level detection of a wide range of fluids, oils, paste-like materials, foam, fibers and solids (including plastic pellets) with either high or low densities or dielectric constants.
- Generates a high frequency sensing field which is immune to product adhesion, making it an ideal solu- tion for viscous or sticky media such as ketchup, yogurt, syrups, creams or pastes, tar like materials, alkalis, etc.
- An ideal replacement for other technologies such as vibrating forks, capacitive, ultrasonic or conductive level switches.
