SVT42 – Vibration and Temperature Transmitter
The SVT42 is a compact and robust vibration and temperature sensor used to monitor and detect both overheating conditions and misalignment or imbalance in motors, fans, centrifuges, compressors, generators and other machinery. Widely used in industrial applications, the vibration sensor is a key part of any plant’s preventive maintenance plan.
The SVT42 model offers 2 independent 4…20mA outputs (one for Vibration and one for Temperature) to monitor both vibration and temperature of any fixed rotating machinery. An explosion proof (Exd) housing can be integrated for applications in hazardous areas.
The sensor measures the mechanical vibration speed in a range of 10,20, 30, 40 and 50 mm/s (RMS) on non-rotating surface and converts it to a 4…20mA (2-wire) proportional with great precision and stability even when applied to large equipment. For temperature, the measuring range is typically between 0 and 100 degrees Celsius.
